Note Cressman says this ship was sunk by carrier planes on 22 September 1944, but also says sunk by USS Rock (SS-274) on 26 October 1944. JANAC says sunk by Rock on 26 October 1944. Alden cites data stating that this ship was in a convoy that left Manila for Soerabaya on 20 November 1944, and was torpedoed on 22 November 1944, concluding that previous attributions of this sinking are incorrect.
