第7横須賀丸 Yokosuka Maru No. 7 (identity of vessel in doubt, not included in sinking totals below)

Totals

7 ships, 34,698 tons, including Peking Maru which had run aground, shared credit for Miyama (Bisan) Maru with USS Bowfin, and shared credit for Shinshu Maru with carrier-based aircraft. Not included is one small vessel Aspro probably sank on he 7th patrol, listed as the 44-ton Yokosuka Maru No. 7 in some sources, although its identity is in doubt.

JANAC - 5 ships, 21,854 tons. Note that the criteria JANAC used included all Japanese Naval vessels (although JANAC did not usually count warships less than 500 tons that were converted from merchant ships) and all Japanese merchant vessels of 500 or more gross tons known or believed to have been lost during the war. Differences between JANAC figures and current research are noted above.

Alden-McDonald credit Aspro with 8 ships and 34,741 tons sunk, including (with reservations) Yokosuka Maru No. 7.

SORG credits Aspro with 16 ships and 92,800 tons sunk.
