Totals

6 ships, 29,344 tons, including Eikyo Maru, heavily damaged by Dace and later bombed by aircraft resulting in total loss. In addition, Tamon Maru No. 15 (6,925 tons) was sunk by a mine laid by Dace on her 6th patrol. Dace also sank 3 small vessels totalling 570 tons. These figures are the same for Alden-McDonald.

JANAC - 6 ships, 28,689 tons. Note that the criteria JANAC used included all Japanese Naval vessels (although JANAC did not usually count warships less than 500 tons that were converted from merchant ships) and all Japanese merchant vessels of 500 or more gross tons known or believed to have been lost during the war. Differences between JANAC figures and current research are noted above.

SORG credits Dace with 9 ships and 41,600 tons sunk.
