御室山丸 Omurosan Maru

音羽山丸 Otowasan Maru

ありた丸 Arita Maru

Patrol 6

29 Jan 1945-3 Apr 1945

黄浦丸 Koho Maru

Flasher probably also sank 3 small vessels by gunfire in partnership with USS Bashaw (SS-241) - totalling 250 tons

Totals

Current research credits Flasher with sinking 24 ships, 119,069 tons, including the fishing vessels Ise Maru and Kanhoku Maru No. 2, as well as two ships (Aki Maru and Tozan Maru) also credited to USS Crevalle (SS-291). These figures do not include "Iwanami" and the 3 small vessels sunk by gunfire on her 6th patrol.

JANAC - 21 ships, 100,231 tons, plus shared credit for Tozan (Tosan) Maru, and mistakenly including "Iwanami." JANAC does not credit Flasher with sinking Ise Maru, the small vessel Kanhoku Maru No. 2, and shared credit for sinking Aki Maru. Note that the criteria JANAC used included all Japanese Naval vessels (although JANAC did not usually count warships less than 500 tons that were converted from merchant ships) and all Japanese merchant vessels of 500 or more gross tons known or believed to have been lost during the war. Differences between JANAC figures and current research are noted above.

Alden-McDonald credit Flasher with 27 ships and tons sunk.

SORG credits Flasher with 24 ships and 149,300 tons sunk.
