Comment:  This ship may have been sunk in collision with another ship in convoy while scattering, but more than likely she was only damaged. According to Ultra, she arrived in Takao on October 24, 1944. It is probable that Kori Go was actually sunk on March 25, 1945 in the vicinity of 31.11N, 122.23E, at the mouth of the Yangtse Kiang by Army AB, according to JANAC/PSIS-100.

JANAC and Alden do not credit Tang with this sinking, although Cressman credits both Tang and the USAAF B-24s, calling the latter sinking "Kori Go Maru."
